Microsoft To Unveil Office 2010 and Office Web on Monday

Next Monday at Microsoft's annual WorldWide Partner Conference in New Orleans, the company is planning to announce the Office Web Applications and Office 2010 beta that fans have eagerly been awaiting.

Microsoft Office 2010 will come both in 32-bit and 64-bit flavors and will feature a new logo, Outlook mail-client, user-interface and more. Probably one of the most noticeable changes is the user interface which is now much more cleaner and feels more seamless than any other Office product before.

The Office Web product provides a lightweight alternative to Office 2010 that runs within your web browser.

Having Office Web in your browser will allow you to create and save documents anywhere in the world. You could be at home editing a document and have to leave for work that morning. When you get to work you could continue where you left off because the document would have been saved to the cloud. After leaving work you could continue working on your document from your Windows Mobile phone on the train ride home.

The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) will be held from July 13th - July 16th and costs $1,795 per person. More information on the conference can be found here.
