Prototype The Game Hits Store Shelves June 9th

Activision Publishing confirmed yesterday that the much anticipating open-world action thriller game, Prototype, will be available in Europe tomorrow and in the U.S. on June 9th.

PROTOTYPE lets gamers feel the power of being the ultimate shape-shifting weapon. You are the PROTOTYPE: Alex Mercer - a genetically mutated man without memory, armed with amazing shape-shifting abilities, hunting your way to discover what created you and determined to make those responsible pay. As Alex, gamers tear through a densely populated contemporary New York City with Parkour-style agility, consuming anybody that gets in their way...assuming their physical identity, memories and abilities.

PROTOTYPE The Game will be available for Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 system and Windows PC.

According to Prototype game reviews, it looks like it might be a decent game. I'm not so sure about some of the dialog that I've seen in some of the videos and demo's of the game but I guess we'll see what the general public thinks once it's released next week.

Prototype the video game will be available in North America on June 9th, 2009. It will cost $49 for Windows and $59 for Prototype Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game. You can pre-order with free shipping at Amazon.com.
