Sony's New PSP Go! Details and Video Leaked

E3 2009 is slated to have a lot of new and interesting products this year with the Sony PSP Go, being one of them. Instead of having to wait until Tuesday to see what the new PSP Go is all about, apparently someone at Qore leaked the information about the new portable. Intentional? More than likely.

Sony's New PSP-Go! Portable Gaming Device

As everyone predicted, the new Sony PSP Go is a UMD-less PSP that instead features 16GB of internal memory for storing digital games that can be bought and downloaded directly to the device. The PSP Go also includes an expandable memory slot for storing additional data. Below are the other specifications of the Sony PSP Go:

  • 3.8" Screen (PSP-3000 has 4.3")
  • Bluetooth Connectivity
  • Single Analog Stick
  • Slideup screen unveils gamepad
  • Nearly 45% lighter than PSP-3000 thanks to being UMD-Free
  • On-Demand Video Service
  • New Games: Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Solid

According to the video leaked below, the Sony PSP Go will be available along-side with the PSP 3000 as you will still be able to purchase the 3000 until it's replaced with the PSP-4000 later down the road.

The Sony PSP Go will be available this fall according to the report. I'm sure we'll receive even further information on Tuesday such as pricing and a fullset of features.
