Apple Giving Away Free iPod Touch 8GB For Back To School

Apple has announced its Back To School program which gives a free iPod Touch to those that buy a Mac for college. Here's how it works; you choose a Mac and automatically save from $100 - $200, thanks to the education discount, then you buy an iPod Touch during the same checkout process, and finally you submit your rebate claim by October 8th, 2009 and you get the money back from the iPod Touch purchase.

The iPod Touch 8GB isn't the old product that you can choose to receive. You may choose other iPod products of equal or lesser value:

• iPod Touch 8GB yields $229 rebate
• iPod Classic 120GB yields $229 rebate
• iPod Nano 16GB yields $199 rebate
• iPod Nano 8GB yields $149 rebate
• iPod Shuffle 4GB yields $79 rebate

Please keep in mind that this is only for eligible employee's, faculty, staff, and students of a public or private K-12 institution or higher education. This is only valid in the United States and only the MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, and iMac qualify with this free iPod program.
