Where To Download Windows 7 RC1

We've received a lot of emails on this question in response to the article this morning that we wrote on about Windows 7 RC's download availability. The Windows 7 Release Candidate 1 is NOT avaliable today. It will be avaliable beginning tomorrow from Microsoft.com as was the Public Beta release back in January.

As with the Public Beta release, the Free Windows 7 RC will only be available on the web site for a certain duration so you should grab it as soon as possible.

I'm sure there will be plenty of people trying to reach the Microsoft site tomorrow to download their free copy of Windows 7 RC and the servers at Microsoft may not be able to keep up with the demand. If this happens, be sure to check us out first thing as we will have alternative download locations (mirrors) for the release candidate download.
