Google Continues to Lead Searches in U.S.

In U.S. searches for February 2009 Americans conducted 13.1 billion searches, down 3 percent from the month before - but probably due to being a shorter month. Google led the pack as usual with 63% of the searches being conduced with Google Sites, Yahoo came in second with 20% of the searches, followed by Microsoft sites at 8% and Ask.com at 4%. Google Sites handled 8.3 billion core searches, followed by Yahoo! Sites with 2.7 billion and Microsoft Sites with 1.1 billion.
