Microsoft Announces Two Critical Security Updates

Microsoft has announced an advance security bulletin for the patch Tuesday of February 10th, 2009. There will be two critical patches in this release, one for Internet Explorer and the other for Exchange Server. The Exchange patch will not require a reboot, while the IE patch will. There will also be two important updates for SQL and Visio and both of these may or may not require a reboot. All four patches secure a vulnerability that could allow remote code execution, so all of them are high priority patches in that aspect.

More information will be provided at the MS09-FEB Bulletin.
