Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 has been released to the public and Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 is targeted for a February 2009 release date.
"Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 includes some big changes (Web worker threads, Private Browsing Mode and Tracemonkey) and it was felt that another public consultation point would be needed before we were ready to move to release candidates," stated a spokes person.
"Between Beta 1 and Beta 2, we began to see an increase in our count of "blocking" bugs (ones serious enough to keep us from releasing), which made us feel like taking some extra time for wider feedback would be useful." they went on to say.
Tech Fragments has not yet tried this latest release of Firefox but if you have, please share your comments.
