Google finally listened to its users by adding the much needed "to-do" list in Gmail. The new feature, called Tasks, is now available in Gmail labs. Simply click on the beaker icon next to "Settings" on the upper right hand corner of Gmail. When Tasks are enabled, it appears as a link in the left-hand column under Contacts. When you click on this link a dropdown box appears similar to Gtalk.
The Gmail Tasks allow users to add entries, remove entries, cross completed tasks, create new lists, or even pop-out the tasks on the users' desktop. You can see screenshots and more information on the new feature at the Official Gmail Blog.
