Apple iPod Event Confirmed For September 9th

Apple today confirmed a special invitation-only event being held at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts Theater in San Francisco California on September 9th, 2009. This is the same location as Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference held each year and has been place that Apple has unveiled its latest and greatest new products.

Invited press members received an email of the place and time that it starts as well as a graphic with a girl listening to an iPod and a caption that reads "It's only rock and roll, but we like it." which references a classic Rolling Stones song.

At the event, Apple is expected to unveil new versions of the iPod Touch and iPod Nano which will feature digital cameras. In addition to the new iPod products, we also believe that Apple will release its latest version of iTunes, iTunes 9. The new version of iTunes will feature social networking, Internet Radio, and many other features.

What about the Apple Tablet? Well, this still may not be unveiled until Q1 of 2010. We know its out there but we don't suspect its ready for prime time as Steve Jobs continues to polish it and insure it meets exceeds his up-most quality of tastes.
